@create C224 Gauss Pistol
lsedit C224=def
The C224 is the standard sidearm for Confed marines. It fires a caseless 10x20mm projectile along a tight-beam magnetic field. Magazines are mounted in the grip and has a capacity for 15 rounds. The magnetic accelerator is powered with a detachable power cell mounted in the grip above the ammo bay.
It utilizes fiberoptics for the electronics (for EMP protection) and less moving parts and less cleaning required than a ballistic firearm. It uses a HexSite for sighting. The weapon is painted in ADPAT (Adaptive Pattern).

@create C47A3 Gauss Bullpup
lsedit C47=def
The standard assault weapon of Confed marines, the C47 Assault Rifle incorporates a gauss rifle and an underslung grenade launcher.
It fires 6x37mm projectiles at supersonic speeds through magnetic acceleration. Standard load out are Dual Purpose rounds.
The round has a Tungsten Carbide rod in a soft lead jacket, which is in a ferrite sabot (which drops away when the round leaves the barrel). When the jacket hits it expands like a hollowpoint, but if it hits armour the jacket is stopped and the penetrator rod slides free, acting like an armour piercing round.
The grenade launcher fires magnetically accelerated 20mm grenades.
It features one trigger for grenade launcher and rifle. The fire-select is ‘Safe-Auto-Semi’ and an additional toggle reads ‘Rifle/Grenade’.
The magazine holds 50 rounds and a forward-mounted magazine contains 4 grenades.
Integrated into the carry handle is a dual optical sight that combines a 3x magnified telescopic sight (with the main reticule designed for firing at 300 m, a bullet drop compensator with: 200, 400 and 600 m crosshairs and a range-finding scale) and an unmagnified reflex red-dot sight mounted on top of the telescopic sight. The red dot sight is activated by ambient light during the day and requires battery power (8 years on a watch battery) in a zero light environment. The magnetic accelerator is powered with a detachable, power cell mounted in the stock above the ammo bay.
The rifle utilizes fiberoptics for the electronics (for EMP protection) and less moving parts and less cleaning required than a ballistic firearm. The weapon is painted in ADPAT (Adaptive Pattern).

The machinegun is the support weapon of Confed marines. It fires 6x37mm projectiles at supersonic speeds through magnetic acceleration. Standard loadout are Dual Purpose rounds.
The round has a Tungsten Carbide rod in a soft lead jacket, which is in a ferrite sabot (which drops away when the round leaves the barrel). Casettes are aft of the trigger and have a capacity for 300 rounds. A bipod is mounted forward as well as a heavier barrel for sustained fire. The magnetic accelerator is powered with a detachable, power cell mounted in the stock above the ammo bay.

The red dot sight is activated by ambient light during the day and requires battery power (8 years on a watch battery) in a zero light environment. The magnetic accelerator is powered with a sealed, rechargeable power cell mounted in the stock above the ammo bay.

The C-90 remains effective and is the standard service laser in use by many reserve formations but it is still an excellent X-ray laser rifle. It fires in 0.8 megajoules per power cell, for 6 shots. It mounts an adjustable 6x-12x scope.

@create C-100 Heavy Railgun
lsedit C-100=def
An extremely powerful weapon but limited in rate of fire. Instead of firing a burst like most rail guns, the SSRG-12 Rail gun fires a single large round at huge velocities. It inflicts incredible damage and is very long ranged. It uses special recoil buffering systems but it’s better if fired when braced (at least by people of more normal strengths). It mounts a 12x scope
The power for the rail gun is provided by special capacitors in the magazine. The weapon can be broken down into approximate 60 lb bundles and be carried by teams of three with one carrying three magazines. It features an ambidextrous trigger grouping, from top-to-bottom, of Safe-Semi.
It uses a 5 round 25mm tungsten shell. The effective range of this 52.6 kg (116 lbs) weapon is 2,450 meters.
It utilizes fiberoptics for the electronics (for EMP protection) and less moving parts and less cleaning required than a ballistic firearm. The weapon is painted in ADPAT (Adaptive Pattern).
